Officer Horton

Officer Horton honorably retired from the largest city municipality in Arizona where he led over 250 Police Volunteers in their Department’s Citizens Offering Police Support (COPS) program. This gold standard unit was the pinnacle of Law Enforcement and Community partnership. Officer Horton ran this unit for over 8 years growing it into a nationally recognized and awarded community engagement program. Upon retirement, he stays highly active running his own business and consulting firm while also serving as the past President and current District Governor for Rotary International and the Tempe Rio Salado Rotary Club. His past law enforcement assignments include but are not limited to Police Recruiter, Public Information’s Officer and Volunteer Coordinator. In his minimal free time, he enjoys staying fit through boxing, enjoying time with his beautiful family and driving one of the many Arizona open roads on his custom Indian Motorcycle.
